Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son one of Richard McCormick. Her father taught in the school system while her mother was a stay-at-home mom. She has three older brothers: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick was a gifted entertainer and singer at a young age. She would put on shows with puppets to entertain her friends. When she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 year old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see whether McCormick was interested in getting into the entertainment industry. McCormick had her first significant role when she got a part in the 1964 television commercial of Mattels new baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in another commercial with the company's Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical The Wind It up until It breaks on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was picked out of a crowd of over 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance to be the youngest of three towheaded girls on the new TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson as well as Robert Reed as newlyweds with a blended family. The show lasted for five years. In her autobiography Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice released in 2008, McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season, she almost lost her virginity to her screen co-star and brother Barry Williams.
